About me
Fascinated by the beauty of nature and its wilderness, I have been equally confronted with the damages of human activities to the ecosystems. From this duality, I draw a creative force that imbues my paintings with a vision of the world that is poetic and alarming at the same time.
On the canvas, I combine a surrealism with a photographic execution, inviting the eye of the viewer to a contemplative reflection on nature. My animals are in the grip of torment, haste, ecstasy and dreams. Their enigmatic apotheoses turn them into icons of the climate crisis.
