About the artist
Repeated life-changing experiences in the wild have changed Sailev’s perception of nature and transformed his artistry. Made of scales, feathers, fur and bones, his creations illustrate the wealth of nature while reminding of the peril it faces.
The animals that he depicts are the spirits of a higher, mesmerizing nature, coming together to evoke deep emotions and trigger a contemplative reflection in the viewer’s mind on nature and our agency to it.
